Role Overview: We are in search of a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Lead / Project Manager to oversee our federal client projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex knowledge management systems and will be responsible for the development and operation of client systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of developers, ensuring effective planning, training, and mentorship.
  • Manage project activities in accordance with the Project Management Plan, including staffing and documentation.
  • Coordinate development and maintenance activities for cloud-based platforms, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Oversee a 24/7 support team to address service outages and maintain cloud service availability.
  • Ensure timely project completion while adhering to quality standards and facilitating communication across teams.
  • Establish standards and procedures to assess product quality and readiness for release.
  • Maintain administrative policies and procedures for the client.
  • Guide the licensing and management of the client's website.
  • Ensure the functionality of website operations, including content management and design.
  • Enhance and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) to support diverse training methods.
  • Identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders and IT personnel to ensure collaborative project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of experience in technical project management, particularly with cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Experience in leading the development of public-facing knowledge management platforms.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with web hosting platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience in analyzing business needs and providing technical recommendations.
