Essential Qualifications:
  • At least three years of experience in a supervisory role or related field, particularly in vegetation management associated with transmission lines.
  • Demonstrated managerial and motivational abilities.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Professional appearance and grooming.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to hear, speak, and see effectively.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, including potential extended stays for emergency situations.
  • Must obtain ISA Certified Arborist and/or ISA Utility Specialist Certification and/or ISA Certified Tree Worker Certification within one year.

Your Responsibilities as a Field Operations Leader:
  • Oversee the operational performance of General Foremen.
  • Conduct weekly crew visits with General Foremen, providing guidance and support.
  • Implement the Corporate Safety Program, including training sessions and safety meetings.
  • Collaborate with General Foremen and Corporate Safety to investigate and resolve accident claims promptly and sensitively.
  • Ensure high-quality arboricultural services are consistently delivered.
  • Manage equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and procurement processes effectively.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual specifications and requirements.
  • Communicate operational activities with the Division Manager.
  • Review and estimate fixed-price lump sum bid work as needed.
  • Engage with potential clients as directed by management.
  • Understand and enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in internal and external training to enhance job-related skills.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Division Manager or Regional Vice President.
