About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to facilitate after-school troop meetings and deliver the magic of Girl Scouting to bilingual Outreach Girl Scout Troops in Pasco and Richland. As an Outreach Program Specialist, you will work closely with the Outreach Program Coordinator to develop and implement programs that promote STEM, outdoors, life skills, and entrepreneurship among girls in under-resourced communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead engaging activities that cover all aspects of Girl Scouting, including STEM, outdoors, life skills, and entrepreneurship.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with girls, families, staff, and community members.
- Collaborate with co-leaders and other GSEWNI staff to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Complete administrative tasks, including attendance tracking and roster management.
- Communicate effectively with parents and community members about Girl Scouts.
- Previous GSUSA experience preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Experience working in small and large group settings with children.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Available for evening work and occasional weekends.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations within city limits.
- Ability to lead activities through Zoom meetings.
