Job Title: Disaster Recovery Specialist

Join the State of Washington team as a Disaster Recovery Specialist and play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of our IT operations. As a key member of our Cybersecurity Unit, you will be responsible for developing and implementing disaster recovery plans, conducting risk assessments, and providing expert analysis and oversight of our IT incident response program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
  • Provide expert analysis and oversight of IT incident response program
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher in computer science, information assurance, or related field
  • One year of professional IT experience in a cyber-security awareness role
  • Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology's Risk Management Framework requirements
  • Skills in creating policies that reflect system security objectives
