Position Overview

ISI Professional Services is seeking a skilled Project Manager Level II with a strong background in the construction sector to deliver Owner's Representative construction management services for a Department of Defense (DoD) client. This role involves overseeing substantial construction initiatives exceeding $300 million, encompassing a variety of project sizes and complexities.

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive analytical, planning, design, and construction management support to assist the DoD client. Collaboration with senior government project managers and fellow contractor project managers is essential, as this position is part of a broader construction program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of 2 to 3 ongoing construction projects, each valued between $1 million and $10 million.
  • Assist the Government in performing site evaluations, field surveys, and site visits to assess constructability and ensure compliance with codes. Develop preliminary scopes of work and participate in pre-bid meetings.
  • Support the Government in formulating technical requirements, scopes of work, cost estimation analysis, and schedules for A/E services, including the review of studies, reports, and drawings.
  • Track construction progress, manage submittals, permit applications, and organize documentation as part of a collaborative team effort.
  • Independently organize and lead weekly project progress meetings and monthly program reviews to assess schedule adherence, identify deviations from the baseline schedule, and evaluate risks to the overall project and program health.
  • Effectively gather requirements and data from other project managers or clients in a professional manner, ensuring timely and complete submissions.
  • Maintain construction administration data using Excel and web-based software, which will be utilized for metrics and briefing tools for senior leadership.
  • Develop and monitor project lifecycle milestone schedules and Government activities to ensure timely delivery of the construction program. Assess schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Regularly prepare and present project status updates, maintain performance matrices, and produce well-crafted technical reports. Prepare both written and oral reports for Government leadership and program managers, frequently briefing senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain a Public Trust clearance (HSPD-12 fingerprint background check).
  • Education: BS in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with a minimum of 10 years of construction experience, or an ACTIVE General Contractor/Construction Trades license with at least 20 years of construction experience.

Work Environment:

  • Standard business hours consist of 8 hours daily, between 0600 and 1700, Monday through Friday.
  • All Federal holidays will be observed.
