Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Director/Estimator to lead our Residential team at Paul Davis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, estimating, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and manage our Residential team to ensure successful project delivery, meeting client expectations, and achieving company standards.
  • Estimating: Write accurate estimates using Xactimate and other software applications, consistently meeting or exceeding margin expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage subcontractors, ensuring they are properly onboarded, managed, and offboarded when necessary.
  • Quality Control: Conduct weekly site visits to ensure quality and customer satisfaction, maintaining high NPS scores.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain a communication protocol with Project Managers to ensure frequent and accurate customer and internal stakeholder communication.
  • Problem-Solving: Address service-related issues quickly, escalating those that cannot be resolved immediately.
  • Professional Development: Utilize vendors and trade resources to educate the team and enhance their skills.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in construction project management, estimating, and team leadership, with a strong background in restoration, including water, mold, asbestos, and contents.
  • Skills: Excellent computer skills, ability to learn new software, and experience using Xactimate and other estimating software applications.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Xactimate certification, are highly desirable.
