Whitten Regional Center operates as a residential establishment under the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs, dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental challenges. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care and support to those in need.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a residential facility and function as a Direct Support Manager/Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)
- Ensure that active treatment is consistently provided to residents on a daily basis
- Supervise staff and residents within the designated residential unit/area
- Maintain precise documentation of services and ensure adherence to regulations
- Foster the development of leadership and supervisory capabilities among assigned staff
- Communicate effectively with guardians and advocates regarding significant occurrences
- Monitor consistency across external/internal programs to address discrepancies
- Uphold a safe and hygienic environment for residents
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required

Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in providing professional or direct services
- At least one year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- A bachelor's degree in a human services discipline or equivalent qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations governing ICF's/ID
- Capability to make informed decisions, exercise sound judgment, and lead a team
