Aerospace Assembler 3 Job Description

Parker Hannifin Corporation is a global leader in motion and control technologies, and we are seeking a skilled Aerospace Assembler 3 to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced operations and assemblies using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and test equipment to assemble sheet metal aircraft components.
  • Inspect completed work for conformance to production planning, verbal and written instructions, sketches, and specifications.
  • Use hand and power tools to scribe, grind, punch, deburr, fit, and drill sheet metal detail parts, sub-assemblies, or complete units.
  • May perform sizing, riveting, reaming, spotwelding, seamwelding, poke tacking, and braze preparation.
  • Develop and implement schedules for spotwelding, seamwelding, riveting, and fastener installation.
  • Perform complex repairs and ensure quality products.
  • Work with details and assemblies at the high or low ends of conformance to produce a quality product.
  • Check for prescribed dimensions in jigs, fixtures, or with calipers, micrometers, height gages, and other inspection devices.
  • Follow and accurately interpret written instructions and drawings, planning, sketches, and best practice worksheets.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper documentation is entered on manufacturing planning and paperless timecard system.
  • Train others in multiple areas and on a variety of skills.
  • Improve processes and tools.
  • Resolve most challenges and complex problems.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work with details and assemblies at the high or low ends of conformance to produce a quality product.
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools, fixtures, and test equipment.
  • Ability to inspect completed work for conformance to production planning, verbal and written instructions, sketches, and specifications.
  • Ability to follow and accurately interpret written instructions and drawings, planning, sketches, and best practice worksheets.
  • Ability to perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.
