Aerospace Assembler 3 Job Description

Parker Aerospace Group, a global leader in motion and control technologies, seeks an experienced Aerospace Assembler 3 to join their team. As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting sheet metal aircraft components using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble sheet metal detail parts, sub-assemblies, or complete units by adjusting alignment and mating pieces to typical and close tolerances.
  • Perform sizing, riveting, reaming, spotwelding, seamwelding, poke tacking, and braze preparation.
  • Inspect completed work for conformance to Production Planning, verbal and written instructions, sketches, and specifications.
  • Develop and implement schedules for spotwelding, seamwelding, riveting, and fastener installation.
  • Perform complex repairs and troubleshoot faulty operations.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work with details and assemblies that are at the high or low ends of conformance to produce a quality product.
  • Experience in multiple cells and ability to move to various work areas easily.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body.
