Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant in our Pediatrics team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient care and support services, including checking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and collecting specimens.
• Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and completing forms and requisitions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and test results.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and communication.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a certified program for Medical Assistants preferred.
• Current certificate of cardiopulmonary resuscitation training required; phlebotomy training and license preferred.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working in a medical office or facility; experience with practice specialty preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion and tact.
