Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT) to join our team in Norway, Maine. As an MHRT, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with persistent mental health challenges within a residential setting.

About the Role

As a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician, your primary responsibility will be to provide support to clients, assisting them in achieving their goals as established in a personal plan. You will also encourage change through a positive reinforcement approach, administer medication, and promote client community integration and inclusion.

This opportunity includes attending and actively promoting recreational and social outings and activities with our clients using New Communities company vehicles for client transportation. An MHRT acts with the highest level of ethics and professional conduct to provide quality services with respect and compassion.

We offer competitive salaries and benefits to attract and retain top talent. The estimated salary for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma/GED
  • 18 years of age or over
  • Active driver's license
  • Experience in direct care, preferred, but not required. Willing to train.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English
