At Preferred Professional Services (PPS) Agency, we are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant - Medication Management Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of residents through proper medication management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer prescribed medications to residents under supervision.
  • Record and document medication administration and resident responses.
  • Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects.
  • Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely medication management.
  • Assist with other resident care tasks as needed, following protocols and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certified Residential Medication Assistant certification.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Dedication to upholding high standards of medication administration and resident care.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature.
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Estimated Salary: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
