ROLE SUMMARY

The Administrative Support Associate plays a crucial role in assisting the Executive Director of Student Engagement and Title IX within the Athletic Department or other designated supervisors. This position involves managing a range of administrative functions and projects to ensure smooth departmental operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for faculty, students, colleagues, and visitors, facilitating effective communication and support.
  • Contribute actively to the daily operations of the department, including customer service, document preparation, mail handling, and inventory management.
  • Establish and maintain intricate filing systems, ensuring confidentiality of student and employment records.
  • Organize both physical and digital documentation, providing necessary information to departmental personnel and the public.
  • Assist in data entry related to class assignments, schedules, and registrations, while preparing reports for supervisory review.
  • Coordinate meetings by managing logistics such as room reservations, invitations, and preparation of materials.
  • Support special projects and initiatives, collaborating with team members to meet objectives.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks while exercising independent judgment.


Essential Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and respect for diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree with three years of office experience, or a High School diploma with six years of related experience.
