Job Summary

PROMESA R.H.C.F. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and office support activities for supervisors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to supervisors, including fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, and maintaining accurate messages.
  • Sort and deliver mail, and reroute, transmit, or deliver reports to all departments as needed.
  • Act as directed by the Director's office in providing support and communication between the Director's office and other departments within the facility.
  • Assist the Director in special assigned projects and provide temporary or long-term assignments to various departments within the facility as required.
  • Maintain a positive and calm environment, and consult with department supervisors to assist in eliminating or correcting problem areas and improving services.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year's previous relevant experience in Administrative Assistant preferred.
  • Ability to use business acumen to exercise good judgment and decision-making.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion.
  • Must be able to multitask with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate both verbally and in written form.
  • Commitment to cultural diversity and sensitivity.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure and operate with a keen sense of urgency and commitment to quality.
