Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing client and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the management of daily operations at assigned locations.
  • Assist with various management tasks as required.
  • Provide courteous assistance to customers.
  • Help maintain and repair equipment, as well as perform general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
  • Report any known incidents, observed or suspected policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Assist in the cleanup of debris, spills, and other hazards. Be prepared to substitute for any position as needed.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of shuttle operations, including transportation routes, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the vicinity.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.
  • Participate in the ParkDIA Conversion.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with relevant experience or training. Supervisory experience in DOT-regulated shuttle operations is preferred.
  • Licensing: A valid state-issued driver's license with an up-to-date address and acceptable driving record is mandatory.
  • Medical Certification: A Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as necessary.

  • Written Communication: Proficient in writing clearly and informatively, with the ability to read and interpret written materials.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a positive attitude and respond promptly to service requests.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changes in the work environment and handle unexpected situations.
  • Judgment: Demonstrate sound and accurate judgment in decision-making.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position include:

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and using hands and fingers to handle objects.
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
