Key Responsibilities
  • Operate shuttle buses in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with their needs and ensuring their safety.
  • Log trip counts and maintain accurate records of bus operations.
  • Assist disabled passengers and provide support as needed.
  • Report any incidents or safety concerns to the Facility Manager.
  • Communicate with the garage office regarding any issues or concerns.
  • Substitute for other team members as needed, with authorization.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the area, including major streets, landmarks, and freeways.
  • Assist with luggage and other traveling items, as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Acceptable DMV record.
  • DOT Medical Card.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and other employees.
  • Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds.
