Job Description:

Edgewood Properties is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing and Marketing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for marketing and leasing our properties, as well as managing the sales process from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet all residents, future residents, and internal team members in a professional and consistent positive manner
  • Keep a high level of service in mind with every task while resolving conflict to benefit all concerned parties
  • Sell the value of the community features as they relate to the customers' needs to close on a sale
  • Lead management - follow up regularly with potential leads
  • Tour apartment homes and community grounds, including models, amenities, and vacant apartments
  • Prepare lease documents and related paperwork for management
  • Facilitate the move-in/move-out process
  • Promote positive resident relations
  • Organize and maintain resident files per company procedure
  • Attend all resident events and contribute to resident retention efforts
  • Respect the boundaries of confidentiality, fair housing laws, and safety
  • Ensure a high level of professionalism and customer service
  • Manage resident renewals and distribute and follow up on renewal notices
  • Monitor service requests. Ensure call backs are being completed
  • Prepare incident reports and follow up in accordance with the direction of the Community Manager
  • Execute on-site marketing and advertising directives - manage ILSs/website content/social media accounts
  • Manage Broker relations, including managing MLS listings
  • Manage and contribute to positive online reputation management
  • Work with the maintenance department to handle apartment turnovers, move-ins, and work order requests and assist in maintaining the cleanliness of show units and tour routes
  • Assist in the preparation of newsletters and resident activities
  • Be a market knowledge expert and prepare monthly market survey
  • Manage other team members, setting expectations, and holding team members accountable
  • Sign new Employers to the company's Preferred Employer Program
  • Develop relationships with local Preferred Employers and work with them to cross-promote businesses
  • Handle clerical and reception responsibilities as designated by the Property Manager
  • Responsible for handling resident issues, needs, and complaints in a professional manner

  • Basic typing and clerical skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Projection of a professional image by following dress code and appearance standards as set forth by the community
  • Reliable transportation
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • A positive, upbeat attitude
  • Sales skills
  • Clean criminal background
  • No prior apartment evictions
  • Previous Experience Desired: Customer Service Industry, Retail, Leasing, Marketing
  • Education Desired: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
