Job Summary

The Housing Intake Specialist will work under the direct supervision of the Inclusionary Housing Program Manager and Home Improvement Program Manager to facilitate the housing intake process for prospective participants.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The Housing Intake Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service, completing income certifications/re-certifications, managing the Home Improvement Program waitlist, and maintaining client files.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating and maintaining the Housing Division's webpage, marketing the various housing programs, and assisting with coverage of the Inclusionary Housing Program general email and virtual office hours.

The Housing Intake Specialist will work closely with the Inclusionary Housing Program Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the housing intake process and the provision of excellent customer service to prospective participants.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality customer service to prospective participants
  • Complete income certifications/re-certifications for applicants
  • Manage the Home Improvement Program waitlist
  • Maintain client files for the Home Improvement Program
  • Create and maintain the Housing Division's webpage
  • Market the various housing programs
  • Assist with coverage of the Inclusionary Housing Program general email and virtual office hours
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree and at least three (3) years' administrative and/or housing experience
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail
