At Empowered Services, we are committed to building a team of responsible, compassionate, and skilled professionals. Your focus will be on fostering life skills and creating opportunities for our diverse clientele and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a personal companion to your clients, providing supportive friendship while embodying the vision and values of Empowered Services with integrity. Encourage and nurture individuals' interests, hobbies, and community connections. Assist with daily living needs, including nutrition, hygiene, exercise, communication, social skills, and household tasks. Help clients with daily living, behavioral support, mobility, and transportation, always striving to enhance their self-reliance and confidence. Develop engaging daily schedules and plans for exciting activities to promote independence.
- Support your clients in achieving their goals and desired outcomes. Monitor progress and provide feedback to administrative staff. Report any incidents within 24 hours when necessary. Foster individual skill development and work towards community integration. Transport clients to outings, appointments, meetings, and events as needed.
- Build meaningful relationships and connections with your clients. Help them recognize their voice, value, and inclusion in the community. Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of your clients. Assist with medication management and medical needs when required. Complete the mandatory annual training and pursue further certifications as the role demands.
- Exhibit compassion, patience, and encouragement as a support professional at all times. You will serve as a caregiver, cheerleader, and advocate, making a significant positive impact on the lives of many.
