About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Redempta Services. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities

As a DSP, your key responsibilities will include:

  • providing support to individuals with disabilities in their daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • administering medication(s) according to guidelines.
  • aiding in the implementation of treatment plans, training programs, and developmental/behavioral plans.
  • encouraging community participation and social skills development.
  • documenting all observations and daily progress notes.
  • communicating effectively with team members and families.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • basic computer skills.
  • CPR/First Aid training (Preferred).
  • the ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, sit, and walk for periods of time.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
