Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Disability Advocacy Coordinator.

In this role, you will work closely with clients and the general public, providing essential support and connecting them with vital services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advocacy, case management, and information and referrals to clients and the general public.
  • Supporting and encouraging client self-advocacy efforts and advocating on their behalf when necessary.
  • Providing crisis intervention, problem-solving, and short-term counseling to survivors/victims of sexual assault.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • 1 year of direct service work experience in the Deaf community.
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).
