Spacecraft Engineering Specialist

This Aerospace Systems Engineer III position is a critical role in supporting the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Fluids Systems, Propulsion, or Engines System, a B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace engineering, Physics, or an equivalent technical field, and a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support requirements development, allocation, functional decomposition, validation, and traceability efforts
- Carry out systems engineering activities in accordance with tailored system engineering standards and practices
- Develop, review, and assess validation artifacts
- Act as the negotiator between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests in order to make sure the system as a whole is optimized, while ensuring internal and external partners' needs are represented

Requirements
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Fluids Systems, Propulsion, or Engines System

- Strong understanding of system lifecycle configuration management tools and functional analysis toolsets
