Job Summary

ASM Global is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at the Dayton Convention Center. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concession Stand Operations: Set up and maintain concession stands, including arranging condiments, napkins, utensils, and other necessary items.
  • Customer Service: Take orders, communicate with the kitchen, and operate a cash register to process transactions.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Organize and serve customers in a timely manner, ensuring that their food and beverage needs are met.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean and maintain concession stands, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, guests, and team members.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Cash Handling: Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and the ability to operate a cash register.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and lift up to 20-50 pounds, with frequent reaching, standing, walking, and stooping.
