Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Beverage Operations Manager to join our team at Marriott International Inc. Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Maintain and enforce high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation in all beverage operations, ensuring compliance with hotel, Shaner, and franchise specifications.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the annual budget for the Food and Beverage Department, ensuring accurate and aggressive financial objectives are met.
  • Staff Management: Lead and train a team of beverage staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment, and managing employee performance to ensure productivity and guest satisfaction.
  • Guest Relations: Respond to and resolve guest complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Assist in promoting the lounge and menu planning, maintaining standards, and managing property liquor inventories and controls.
  • Training and Development: Determine training needs and implement training plans to ensure staff are equipped to provide exceptional guest service and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of five years' experience in a similar position, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent; degree in hospitality management, business, or culinary arts preferred.
  • Certifications: Safe food handling certification and bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, such as B.E.O.'s, safety rules, and procedure manuals; familiarity with sales and marketing tools, as well as food and beverage cost controls.
