With a dedicated workforce of approximately 30,000 employees, we ensure the seamless transport of our clients' shipments via air and sea. For more information, please visit our career site.As an Air Export Agent, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the transit of our clients' air export shipments. You will serve as the key liaison for coordinating between customers, customs brokers, and shipping carriers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Facilitate coordination among all relevant parties for every air export shipment, ensuring timely bookings with airlines on behalf of the customer.
- Prepare export documentation, including entries into Logis Air, in compliance with country-specific requirements, as well as the creation of necessary documents such as Certificate of Origin, Cargo Manifest, NAFTA Certificate, Airway Bill, and any additional documents requested by the customer.
- Ensure compliant filing of AES (Automated Export System) for customs.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding the status of their shipments, while also liaising with overseas contacts to uphold delivery commitments; monitor and track departure and arrival information through airline follow-ups.
- Accurately complete invoicing for services rendered within the timeframe established by company policy.
- Ensure that customer profiles are kept accurate and up-to-date.
- Meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) assigned and audited by the Control Tower.
Skills / Requirements :
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Previous experience in the air freight industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with Cargo Wise systems is advantageous.
- A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in the air freight sector within the freight forwarding industry is required.
