Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemist II to join our team at Brice Engineering LLC. As a Chemist II, you will play a critical role in verifying and validating analytical data on environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and validate analytical data on environmental projects
  • Provide support for the preparation of work plans, reports, sampling, and analysis plans (SAPs)/quality assurance project plans (QAPPs)
  • Communicate with subcontract laboratories
  • Review technical documents
  • Manage databases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Environmental Studies, or related discipline
  • Five to ten years of experience providing analytical review/validation and support on environmental projects
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations/guidance for Alaska
  • Knowledge of SW-846 methodology and sample handling requirements
