Job Overview

The Steam/Power System Engineering Technologist will be instrumental in advancing our mission by managing the engineering, operations, construction, and upkeep of steam and power generation facilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the primary technical liaison for steam and power infrastructure
  • Creating and preserving essential technical documentation
  • Applying relevant industry codes and standards to system operations
  • Evaluating and endorsing vendor proposals and design changes
  • Conducting field assessments and contributing to safety evaluations

Qualifications

This role necessitates a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of experience for Engineering Technologist 2, and 8 years for Engineering Technologist 3. Preferred qualifications include a solid understanding of DOE regulations, familiarity with engineering protocols, and possession of EIT or Professional Engineering certification.
