Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Seven Seas Water Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and securing long-term contracts with municipal and industrial clients in the state of Florida and potentially other Southeast markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current assets and future projects that could benefit from our water and wastewater treatment systems sold as a Water-as-a-Service (WaaS) business model.
  • Meet with potential clients to promote our WaaS business model approach and create a strategic advantage for Seven Seas Water Group.
  • Identify key decision-makers and create an appropriate strategy.
  • Act as primary client contact during the project development period and create a strategic advantage for Seven Seas Water Group.
  • Coordinate with our BD team, engineering, finance, and legal to develop project proposals.
Requirements:
  • Driven individual with an eagerness to identify and close projects (new and existing).
  • History of successful sales experience in a similar industry.
  • Ability to understand municipal government politics and utility decision-making processes.
  • Ability to identify key decision-makers in both municipal and industrial organizations.
  • Ability to find new business while maintaining current projects.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop project-specific BD strategy.
  • Strong skills with the MS Office suite of programs.
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years combined experience in industry-related technical sales, and preference for individuals with P3 project experience for industrial and municipal applications.
  • Experience in water, wastewater, and desalination industry selling WaaS solutions.
  • Experience in the location and specified states is preferred with relevant knowledge and relationships highly welcome.
