About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team at Clark Retirement. As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a vibrant social atmosphere where residents thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop positive relationships with residents, staff, and families.
  • Plan and implement one-on-one and group activity programming to meet each resident's preferences and interests.
  • Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Specialist to complete activity calendars in a timely manner.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of resident participation in various Life Enrichment Programming.
  • Participate in and promote activities with the Montessori Program.
  • Provide Activity/Dementia education and support to residents, families, and staff.
  • Provide excellent person-centered living and dementia care through non-pharmacological interventions.
  • Identify and communicate changes and needs of residents to the interdisciplinary team.
  • Assist in caring planning, care conferences, and family meetings as needed.
  • Participate as an interdisciplinary team member in assigned areas.
  • Provide weekend/evening support and Life Enrichment Programs.
  • Compliant with infection control protocols.
  • Assist with tasks assigned by the Life Enrichment Specialist for resident or family support.
