Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our Ground Radars & Platforms Center, you will be responsible for integrating hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating functionality, and identifying and resolving issues through debugging and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems and evaluate functionality
  • Identify and resolve issues through debugging and data analysis
  • Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Develop integration documentation, execute plans and procedures, process and analyze data, and communicate results
  • Present findings and solutions to leadership and/or customers
  • Communicate with internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Travel to support mission execution at applicable facility, test site, vendor, and/or customer location
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with software, hardware, systems, and/or integration & test
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification
  • Experience with design, development, integration and test of radar systems and software
  • Experience with digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management and mission planning
  • Experience with hands-on root cause identification, corrective action implementation and verification
  • Experience with test planning, test execution and test reporting
  • Experience using DOORS or other requirements management tools
  • Experience support test events with radar systems, weapons systems, or command and control systems
