Job Summary

The Operations Engineering Test Specialist Co-Op will participate in a complex and dynamic manufacturing project environment, learning various aspects of the manufacturing process and contributing to the development of innovative solutions. This role is part of a team that supports homeland and missile defense strategies, working with products in production, design, and transition phases.

Responsibilities
  • Perform data analysis of test results using Microsoft Excel to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provide production floor support to address process and compliance issues from all levels.
  • Work with Electrical Test Equipment (oscilloscopes and multi-meters).
  • Utilize Microsoft Office (VBA programming).
  • Experience working with digital and electronic circuits.
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams for improvement activities (e.g., 6-sigma, lean manufacturing).
  • Use Pareto analysis, cause/effect diagrams, process mapping, and/or other performance analysis tools.
Qualifications
  • This position is for an intern actively enrolled in a Bachelor or master's degree program and pursuing a major in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or systems engineering.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
