Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and deliver program-specific clinical education programs to ensure staff have the necessary knowledge and competencies to meet program contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with education staff across the enterprise to develop an annual training calendar, ensuring a coordinated approach to ongoing programs.
  • Ensure clinical education programs align with the CMS Triple Aim framework, improving patient experience, population health, and reducing healthcare costs.
  • Develop and implement education programs that address patient-centered needs, identifying and communicating protocols and standards of care for diverse patient populations.
  • Manage the implementation of clinical staff development programs, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and are in accordance with nursing and social work practice standards, state and federal regulations, and VNS Health policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent work experience.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Minimum four years' experience in a community-based or long-term home health setting, with at least two years focused on education and training.
  • Effective oral and written communication, presentation, analytical, coaching, and organizational skills.
