About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Accounting Business Analyst to join our team at The Judge Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our business objectives by providing financial planning and analysis expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and track capital expenditure forecasts, ensuring alignment with business targets.
  • Provide data and analysis to support infrastructure filings and rate cases, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support data requests from various regulatory agencies, maintaining accurate and timely reporting.
  • Assist in developing short- and long-term financial forecast updates, adhering to established guidelines and processes.
  • Develop and report relevant performance benchmarks and scorecards to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Support analytical evaluations and reporting of YTD actual financial performance against historical and budgeted performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collect and organize data to understand cost structures and determine the impact of project scope changes and sourcing decisions.
  • Utilize financial systems to plan, execute, and report capital investment performance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of utility or business experience, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis.
