Healthy Spaces is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our Accounting and Finance team. As an individual contributor, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, analyzing financial data, and preparing financial reports. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 per year, paid biweekly.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and address any inquiries.
- Assist with tax filings and audits.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required.
- 3-10 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the construction or home improvement industry is a plus.
