The Accounts Receivable and Collections Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while managing outstanding accounts receivable balances. This position involves maintaining collections standards, minimizing aged items, resolving customer billing inquiries, and achieving or surpassing collections goals.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Formulate effective repayment strategies.
  • Engage with clients regarding overdue accounts.
  • Manage all monthly payment processes and refunds.
  • Address client account inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist clients with billing and credit-related issues.
  • Oversee payment and refund management operations.
  • Implement strategies to promote timely payments.
  • Provide updates on collection activities and customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve billing issues for delinquent accounts.

Conduct proactive collections efforts, including professional outreach via calls and emails regarding outstanding balances, in line with established Collections Standards.


Generate reports for stakeholders as required.


Review open accounts to enhance collection efforts and reduce aged items and balances within the assigned portfolio.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Collections Coordinator role.
  • In-depth knowledge of collection methodologies and billing processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of billing and collection procedures.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
  • Effective administrative capabilities.
