Job Title: Associate Director - Gastroenterology Medical Science Liaison

Eli Lilly and Company is seeking an Associate Director - Gastroenterology Medical Science Liaison to join our team. As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external experts in the gastroenterology field, providing scientific support and education to healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of medical strategies and plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external experts in gastroenterology, including key opinion leaders, researchers, and clinicians.
  • Provide scientific support and education to healthcare professionals, including presentations, workshops, and one-on-one meetings.
  • Contribute to the development of medical strategies and plans, including the development of clinical trial protocols and study designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific developments and advancements in gastroenterology, including new treatments, technologies, and research findings.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in a life science or related field (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a medical science liaison or related role.
  • Strong scientific knowledge and understanding of gastroenterology, including disease mechanisms, pathophysiology, and treatment options.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external experts and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
