Subrogation Recovery Specialist

Job Summary
Elevance Health is seeking a skilled Subrogation Examiner to join our team. As a key member of our subrogation recovery team, you will be responsible for researching and examining routine health claims to identify potential reimbursement opportunities from third-party liability, workers' compensation, and other sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate calls to insurance companies, attorneys, and other stakeholders to gather information and determine potential reimbursement opportunities.
- Utilize various research methods and vendor systems to gather information and identify potential claims.
- Work with subrogation staff and other departments to assist with the recovery process.
- Prepare written communications and reports to stakeholders.
- Review diagnostic and procedure codes to determine claims relevant to each case.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1 year of inbound or outbound call experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills:
- BA/BS degree in a related field.
