Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team in Cardiopulmonary Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional coordination of care, patient education, and medication administration for patients with complex and chronic health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical expertise in cardiac and pulmonary care to patients in various settings, including home, clinic, and hospital.
  • Mentor and train new nurses in our Central Orientation Program, ensuring they demonstrate competency and observe home visits.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to address changes in patient condition or drug management issues, achieving the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to operational and performance improvement goals focused on patient care, utilizing your analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the state or market with active, or eligibility to obtain, national certification (CRNI) or other relevant certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other health-related field with 5 or more years of intensive care nursing experience in Cardiac Care Unit, Pulmonary Care Unit, Open Heart Recovery Room, or in a clinical nursing role focused on the care of patients with diagnoses of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension or CTEPH.
  • Tech-savvy, with ability to use Microsoft and IOS applications and devices.
  • Leader among nurse professionals, consistently demonstrating a high level of patient care, documentation, and practice within regulatory, company policies, and evidence-based best practices.
