Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Paraprofessional or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in a school setting. This contract position will run from January to May, providing valuable support to our Speech-Language Pathologists.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in the implementation of therapeutic interventions and strategies.
  • Work closely with students in both individual and small group settings to support their communication and language development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the overall educational plan.
  • Provide feedback to the Speech-Language Pathologist regarding student progress and performance.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with communication disorders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional or speech-language pathology assistant in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.
  • Knowledge of relevant assistive technology and resources.
