Nutrition Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Food Service Assistant to join our team at Coffee Regional Medical Center. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality food preparation and presentation for our patients and staff.
About the Position:
This position requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. You will be working closely with our food service team to ensure that all meals, snacks, and beverages are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages to patients, staff, and visitors
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate cash register/point of sale device during serving periods as needed
- Collect, record, and report quantities used, amounts produced, amounts left over, and meal counts accurately
- Assist in proper labeling, dating, and rotation of product in dry storage, coolers, and freezers
- Assist in maintaining organized storage of dry goods, refrigerated, and frozen products
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in food service industry preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain absolute confidentiality of material and information accessed and reviewed
Estimated Salary: $48,000 - $58,000 per year
