Speech Therapist Assistant in Douglas, GA

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist Assistant to join our team at Soliant Health. This is a contract position that will run from January to May, providing valuable support to our Speech-Language Pathologists.
Job Summary:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in the implementation of therapeutic interventions and strategies
- Work closely with students in both individual and small group settings to support their communication and language development
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the overall educational plan
- Provide feedback to the Speech-Language Pathologist regarding student progress and performance
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with communication disorders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or speech-language pathology assistant in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff
- Knowledge of relevant assistive technology and resources
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 5 months
- Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
