Job Summary

As a Bridge Design and Project Management Professional at Civil and Environmental Consultants, you will be responsible for leading design and plan development tasks, performing structural analysis and design of various structure types, including highway, railroad, and bike/ped structures. The ideal candidate will also be able to perform bridge inspections and load ratings as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead bridge/structural tasks as part of a project team, including plan and report production

Assist in the development of project proposals, scope, and schedules

Help to develop, monitor, and maintain engineering budgets

Serve as a quality assurance team review member and mentor for a team of bridge/structural engineers

Coordinate with sub-consultants and in-house technical staff to meet project deadlines, as required

Requirements:

B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis (M.S. a plus)

P.E. registration or ability to obtain

7+ years of relevant bridge design experience

Strong technical skills relevant to bridge/structural design and analysis

Experience in leading Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Working experience with marketing, business development, project pursuits, and proposal preparation a plus

Working knowledge of Microstation and/or Civil 3d
