Water/Wastewater Project Manager

Langan Engineering and Environmental Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join its team in Texas. This individual will play a key role in leading and supporting design and permitting efforts for various land development projects, focusing on water and wastewater distribution systems and pump stations, including wastewater treatment facilities.
As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with top industry leadership in a continuous learning environment. Your responsibilities will include designing and permitting water and wastewater components for residential, institutional, commercial, and mixed-use projects for both public and private clients.
You will work closely with office leadership to develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization. Additionally, you will possess an entrepreneurial demeanor and participate in Business Development activities by developing new clients for the firm and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
Site/civil work on various project sites, including designing and overseeing site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, etc., from concept through completion. You will demonstrate experience in all aspects of land development engineering, including the integration of geotechnical and environmental engineering.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a valid Professional Engineer license, and 5+ years of successful, local, and related site/civil engineering experience with a concentration in land development on both small and large projects.
Strong client development and client management abilities, expertise in water and wastewater design, hydraulic analysis, and design, experience in technical and proposal writing, and proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D are required. Active participation in professional organizations and the ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment, and to mentor staff engineers, are also essential.
