Electrical Engineering Project Manager

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide.
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in planning and evaluating new projects, coordinating with other disciplines, and developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulatory requirements, and modern construction practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, evaluate, and coordinate new projects, ensuring all design requirements are met in collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
- Develop detailed design solutions for ground-up construction, tenant improvements, and infrastructure upgrades in commercial, light industrial, and institutional settings.
- Prepare and submit engineering plans, calculations, and drawings to public authorities for approval, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Perform engineering economic analyses and evaluate building systems to meet project scope requirements.
- Develop and monitor project budgets and schedules, overseeing projects from initial scoping through construction support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of specialized experience in electrical engineering
- Healthcare facility design experience is preferred but not required
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements, including TJC, OSHA, and NFPA
- Proficient in using computer software for design and modeling
- Expertise in preparing and submitting engineering plans for approval, with familiarity in modern construction products and applications
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables from start to finish
