Architectural Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team at The Beck Group. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for the development and completion of all aspects of a project from Pre-Design through Construction Administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Development: Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and culture to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate project team members to promote and market Beck Group's services.
  • Documentation and Quality Control: Manage documentation and quality control of documents on smaller jobs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Architecture practice statutes.
  • Code Compliance: Apply zoning, building, life safety, accessibility, and energy codes to ensure project compliance.
  • Project Manuals: Understand and lead the development of project manuals, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Risk Management: Manage project and professional liability, actively monitoring for conditions that could increase risk.
  • Project Execution: Work closely with the Project Designer to execute the vision and spirit of the design, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Project Communications: Manage project communications and documentation, ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.
  • Team Assignments: Manage project team assignments, ensuring the right skills and expertise are allocated to each project.

A successful Architectural Project Manager will have the ability to lead all aspects of a project while maintaining owner relationships. They will set expectations for the owner and the project team, sell Beck Group's services, and encourage repeat business from our clients.

Requirements:
  • Education: College graduate with a relevant, NAAB-accredited degree.
  • Professional Registration: Professional registration is required.
