We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our Domestic Violence Liaison Division. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to victims of domestic violence, helping them navigate the complexities of the system and access the resources they need to rebuild their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs of clients and develop personalized plans to address their safety and well-being.
  • Provide direct counseling services to clients, offering a safe and non-judgmental space to share their experiences and concerns.
  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure seamless referrals and access to essential services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and progress.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in domestic violence intervention.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Valid LMSW or LCSW license issued by the New York State Department of Education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
