Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team at TemPositions. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct service provision to residents in our domestic violence residential and legal program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Intake and Assessment: Conduct thorough intake interviews to assess and evaluate residents for admission to the program.
  • Treatment Planning: Engage residents in initial and ongoing treatment processes, including individual and group counseling, under the clinical supervision of the Program Director.
  • Housing Referrals: Develop and maintain housing referral resources, assist residents in locating and securing permanent housing, in conjunction with the Housing Specialist.
  • Vocational and Educational Support: Assess residents' vocational and educational needs, aptitudes, and interests through interviews and testing, and develop and maintain placement and follow-up as appropriate.
  • Advocacy and Liaison: Develop and maintain liaison activities with H.R.A. Public Assistance and Medicaid Administrators and Workers to assist eligible residents in securing Public Assistance and Medicaid.
  • Goal Setting and Contracting: Develop a contract with residents outlining mutually agreed goals and objectives to be accomplished within a specified timeframe.
  • Group Facilitation: Facilitate psycho-educational groups to support residents' personal growth and development.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in health/human services, sociology, psychology, or social work.
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant training and experience, including working with victims of domestic violence.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Must be knowledgeable and sensitive towards domestic violence issues, with residential experience preferred.
Work Schedule

Full-time position, working weekdays.
