We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Austin Diagnostic Clinic. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, clean, and sterilize equipment, instruments, and work area for collection
- Perform venipuncture, arterial, and capillary punctures on patients
- Manage collection data, including identifying and labeling specimens, conducting laboratory testing, and entering laboratory data into the computer system
- Perform additional collection/test procedures as needed
- Graduation from an accredited phlebotomy program or an Associate's degree in a scientific or health-related field
- 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist, Certified Medical Assistant, or EMT
- Experience using an EHR system is highly preferred
- Current and unrevoked phlebotomy certification is highly preferred
