Position Overview:
The Senior Electrical Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in the development and management of sophisticated electrical systems within a leading research facility. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects in the field of nuclear science.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate electrical integration across multiple hardware divisions, ensuring seamless collaboration between Accelerator Systems, Experimental Systems, and Conventional Facilities.
- Oversee the design review and installation monitoring of electrical systems throughout the laboratory environment.
- Plan and execute the design, installation, operation, and modification of major electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of electrical system products at all stages, from concept through to disposal.
- Act as the Area Coordinator for electrical rooms, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain and enhance the Electrical Safety Program and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, providing training and oversight as necessary.
- Review and inspect custom electronic and electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics, with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in electrical systems design and implementation.
- Extensive knowledge of complex electrical systems and their integration.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and implementing designs accordingly.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams in the fabrication, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Over ten years of relevant work experience, with a proven track record in project leadership.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electrical distribution systems and relevant safety codes, including NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.
- Experience in the field of particle accelerators or related technologies.
