About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Cybersecurity and IT Risk Management function. As a key member of our global ICT leadership team, you will be responsible for protecting our network and systems from internal and external threats, ensuring the security of our data and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
  • Establish and maintain a management framework for security governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Design and implement computer security architecture and develop detailed cybersecurity designs.
  • Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
  • Develop technical solutions and security tools to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct penetration testing and manage the Third Party Risk Management security program.
  • Implement controls to reduce IT risks in cloud and co-location environments.
  • Support the implementation of Information Security Programs and advise on Active Directory best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend end-point best practices and systems.
  • Manage vulnerabilities of IT systems and execute the incident response plan.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in security engineering and a proven track record of leading security teams. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Security Engineering or a related field, and a Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred. You should also have one or more certifications such as a CISSP, CISA, CISM or equivalent.

At least 12 years of security industry experience, with a proven work experience as a director/manager in one of the security function areas: Security operations, incident response, governance, risk and compliance. Experience in building and maintaining security systems, detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security, and hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.

Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and executive presence. Broad level of interpersonal skills and flexibility, cultural sensitivity and ability to develop consensus within a multinational organization.
